Driven by a common passion for teaching, vocal improvisation, and musical adventures off the beaten tracks, Christine Bertocchi, Valérie Philippin and Claudia Solal will share, during this workshop, their specific approaches focusing on the genesis of words, the development of language, and the exploration of extended vocal technics with or without textual support. From imaginary language to the creation of sung forms, from sound poetry to improvised lyrics, from work on vocal textures to instant composition, it is a vast playground that everyone will enrich through improvised proposals or exploratory strolls across existing repertoires. Collective listening, relationship to the body and space, rhythmic awareness, as well as the imagination of each participant will be put forward through various exercices, to be practiced with the whole group or in smaller sub-groups.
