Le Chanteur en perdition
Musical theatre
Two voices rise through the fractured landscape of words: actor Dominique PARENT, a virtuoso of language, and musician Lucie TAFFIN, a poet carried by a nomadic breath. Together, they navigate the dazzling texts of Valère NOVARINA. Language burns, syntax is turned on its head, brought to life through Christian PACCOUD’s music. The word becomes flesh. A duo poised between theatre and music, where every word is a world and every silence a prayer.
Le chanteur en perdition (L’amour est voyant) is a duo performance that inhabits the space between theatre and music. It brings together Dominique PARENT, an actor trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique in Paris and a member of the Comédie-Française company from 2023 to 2025, and Lucie TAFFIN, a singer and accordionist whose work encompasses poetry, reinterpretations of existing songs and a range of artistic collaborations. Together, they bring Valère NOVARINA’s language to life, carried and permeated by Christian PACCOUD’s compositions.
