Two teens groups:

8-11 years old & 12-16 years old


Both instructors will work on the relationship between rhythms, percussions, text and cultural heritage. The workshop will give the opportunity for a crossing over of culture, knowledge and tradition. The week will end on July 21st at 9:30p.m. with a walk through the village led by the children, and mixing theatre and music around historical and natural elements, as well as cultural heritage present in Moutiers-Saint-Jean village.


Julien Charnet is a percussionist and instructor specialised in percussions from West Africa (Doun Doum, Diembé Krin, Balafon). He will co-teach this 6 day long workshop made up of two teens groups (8-11 & 12-16 years old). 


Ghislain Mugneret is an author, actor, stage manager. He also leads teaching training within school settings. His artistic work focuses on connections between play and musical writing, acoustic, syllable, repetition and movement games. 


The event is organised in collaboration with Moutiers-Saint-Jean facilitation committee, « le Pays d’Art et d’Histoire Auxois Morvan » and Montbardois’ tourist information office. This workshop is sponsored by « it’s my culture heritage » programme, as well as the « Caisse des Dépôts » and  Montbardois’ « Communauté de Communes ».
